In addition to operating its owned venues, Jumeirah Restaurants is responsible for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts’ dining strategy, acting as a consultative arm for the wealth of exceptional culinary experiences and signature venues across Jumeirah’s portfolio.

 About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join Jumeirah Restaurants. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Analyse and interpret accounting and financial data to produce reports and presentations requested by the management.
  • Produce operational and financial performance reports such as key trends and business drivers to support the financial review presentation.
  • Preparation of periodic outlet performance reports for identifying significant positive and/or negative trends for the business.
  • Manages the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensures that daily, weekly & month-end reporting process is completed in an accurate and timely basis and that all reporting deadlines for stakeholders are met.
  • Review of P&L’s and detail ledger for the accurate recording of data ensuring monthly reports generated from systems are balanced.
  • Produce and analyse the ROI projections on F&B related projects.
  • Promote the image of the department by giving full support to other departments and creating financial awareness through training.
  • Adhere to format and documentation standards.
  • Adhere to Jumeirah Finance directives.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are completed on schedule and documented.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationship with external and internal customers.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by DoF, GM’s or Corporate etc

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • University Graduate in Business or Hospitality Industry
  • Previous Financial / Operational Analysis Skills.
  • Large Business Operations
  • Good command of English language (written and spoken)
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationship with external and internal customers
  • Proven record as a team player
  • High level of integrity and customer focus
