Executive Chef – Luxury Resort – Zanzibar

Salary Package: $ plus full expat benefits
- As Executive Chef, you will lead and direct the full pre-opening culinary operations.
- Ensure that each chef is running his kitchen at a food cost as outlined in the annual operation’s budget.
- Monitor food standards in each outlet and banquet and work with the chefs to take corrective action where appropriate.
- Manage food and labour labour costs.
- Is creative, modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
- Recruit, train and manage the kitchen team.
- Have strong administrative, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Someone who is ready to be part of a growing team.
- A Bachelor's Degree/Culinary and fluency in English is essential for the role.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Executive chef in Luxury International Hotel chains.
- Experience in Zanzibar/Middle East hotels preferred.
