Events Sales Executive

We are looking for Events Sales Executive


Implement a successful solicitation strategy to targeted accounts to achieve or exceed revenue goals. Under the guidance of the Team Leader is responsible for maximizing Events and Sponsorships business from a defined Active Corporate account database.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growth of the existing portfolio of accounts to build new source of revenue
  • Regular monitoring and evaluating of efficiency of accounts performance
  • To develop targets and sales plans (Account Development Plans) in working with key accounts for achievement of the revenue
  • Negotiating sales contracts and designing packages
  • Secure new business and achieve sales targets
  • Set and attend appointments both at Club and off-site to secure commitments for Events & Sponsorship's.
  • Obtain sales leads from Members.
  • Execute daily sales activities such as telephone sales, face-to-face contacts, Club site inspections and tours, mailings, etc.
  • Provide on weekly basis the activity reports, on monthly basis the achieved targets reports, contracted revenue and general market information.
  • Active search and reports on definite converted revenue on a weekly basis
  • Provide feedback to the Team Leader, on customers, reporting and market conditions when requested
  • Effectively manages cost distribution of Sales activities according to the agreed budget guidelines
  • All other necessary and incidental duties as determined by the Capital Club Management from time to time.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 5* establishment for at least 2-3 years
  • Knowledge on Dubai market (all segments) including area of Abu Dhabi
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High level of professionalism in both attitude and appearance
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office programs
  • Capability to organize effective working environment.
  • High level of self-management.
  • Keen on self-development in private club sales area.
  • Ability to handle stress.
  • A team player attitude and ability to work within a cohesive team is required
  • Attention to details and accuracy with figures and numbers
  • Ability to take personal responsibility to make things happen
  • Ability to handle multiples tasks/situations at a time
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, meet mutually agreed deadlines and flag delays and obstacles
  • Possess strong leadership and motivational skills.A team player attitude is essential.
  • Experience with cold calling to gain new business
  • Experience working with sales revenue targets and KPI's
  • Thorough knowledge of Club industry is preferred.
