Engineering Supervisor

We are currently in need of Engineering Supervisor for Courtyard by Marriott, World Trade Centre and Courtyard by Marriott, Al Barsha Dubai who can join ASAP.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist in maintaining all building related plant and equipment, operating systems and fixed assets to ensure optimum performance and serviceability. Ensure all building fire, safety and security systems are serviced and tested in accordance with local regulations and as per operating guidelines.

Competencies

• HVAC - Electrical vocational diploma.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on-experience in a similar role in a hotel environment.
• Familiarization on HACCP requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Supervisory role. 
• Practical experience in trade related work required in two (2) or more of the following disciplines: HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, boiler systems, plumbing, carpentry, painting, dry walling, roofing and landscaping with a strong understanding of each. 
• Competent oral and written English language communication skills
• Communicate with different types of people to comprehend what they want and to provide them with information.
• Strong organizational and work coordinating skills and able to handle multiple assignments and projects
• Knowledge of all emergency procedures, including but not limited to, fire response, emergency medical procedures, bomb threat plan, water leak emergency procedure, gas leak procedures, electrical failure procedures and elevator procedures.
