2nd Engineer – International Cruise Line

A great opportunity for a 2nd Engineer to join the team onboard!

  • As 2nd Engineer you will consistently monitor, control, and troubleshoot all engine machinery equipment.
  • Oversee the safe operation of all Engine machinery in accordance with the Policy, Procedures, and Safe Working Practices, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Always adhere to all environmental policies and procedures.
  • Holder of an IMO Certificate, Regulation III/2, 2nd Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working as a watchkeeper
  • Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position
  • Experience working within a cruise ship environment is a plus
  • 2nd Engineer experience or higher is a plus
  • Carry out the Engine watch to Main Engines functions and operation
  • Responsible for maintenance and carrying out repairs
  • Chemical analysis and treatment of boiler water, cooling water, A/C pre-heating, and re-heating water, etc
  • Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Salary Package: €7298 p/m plus single cabin onboard

Rotation: 4 months on 2 months off
