About Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, The Palm, Dubai
Part of Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) established in 1903, Taj Hotels have been a pioneer in bringing legendary Indian hospitality to the world.
Continuing this legacy in providing guests with the highest levels of personalized, intuitive service and careful attention to detail, IHCL will be introducing its newest addition - Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm Dubai. Situated on the East Crescent of the Palm and connected to a private beach, the hotel will feature 258 rooms, 67 suites, six F&B venues, a kids’ club, sprawling banquet & meeting spaces and Taj’s signature Jiva Spa. Job Responsibilities
·Responsible for the planning and execution of content creation (including copy writing, photo/video shootings) ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning.
·Manage all activities within the marketing department, ensuring all brand standards are followed
·Creates & executes marketing plan according to budget
·Serve as the hotel’s primary brand ambassador, ensuring that brand guidelines are followed
·Develop the hotel’s communication strategies and execute the marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Sales, Spa, Food and Beverage departments to ensure profit growth and brand exposure
·Plan and oversee the hotel’s advertising and promotional activities
·Pro-actively identify relevant marketing partners for the hotel and manage these relationships profitably to raise hotel awareness, drive demand, deepen loyalty and enrich brand experience.
·Verifies all advertising for the hotels in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice
·Responsible to develop strategic communication plans for the hotels; locally, nationally and internationally
·Responsible for the on properties coordination of all travel media visits
·Manage regional media inquiries and interview requests
·Develop strong relationships with media as well as with tourism industry partners;
·Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
·Develop new partnerships and relationship within the local community;
·Write, distribute press releases and maintain the press review of the hotel up to date with monthly report of activities;
·Organize press tours and visits with journalists, bloggers and media teams;
·Provide public relations support for all on property special event activations - including execution of relevant special event media launches
·Coordinate photo and film shoots on site with commercial and traditional media when necessary
·Manage all media requests from corporate office, agencies and media
·Build and maintain positive relations with the Corporate and Regional offices
·Oversee photo and video shoots for the hotel and seasonal campaigns
·Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related major
·Minimum 5 years’ experience in the marketing, digital or related professional area
·Hospitality marketing or advertising agency experience preferred
·An experienced marketing expert, a dynamic and self-driven, creative individual
·A passionate individual with experience in marketing; traditional & digital; as well as e-commerce and communication (PR)
