Director of Operations – Luxury boutique Hotel in Dublin

Salary: up to €70,000 + bonus and benefits

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Operations Manager / Assistant General Manager / Hotel Manager with F&B focused background to join the team of this boutique Hotel in the heart of Dublin, Ireland.

Reporting to the Area General Manager you will lead and develop the operational team whilst ensuring at all times that the guest experience is exceptional with your second to none customer service skills and attributes. This is a hands-on role, where you will split your time between managing the team, ensuring smooth operations across the property and be an Ambassador towards the guests.

We are looking for someone who is currently in a similar role and has a good understanding of quality food and beverage establishments. To be a strong candidate you will be hungry for success and want to develop your career and will be prepared to go that one step further to achieve the goals of the group.

Previous experience in city centre Boutique Hotel type property with high quality F&B division is recommended.

Your Profile

  • An experienced hotelier with relevant Hotel Management qualification / degree
  • Must have a strong background in the F&B division
  • Experienced in a similar Boutique / Lifestyle type hotel of min 60 bedrooms
  • Understanding of all the Hotel Divisions and strong people skills
  • Keen to develop your commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead, coach and animate the Hotel team to highest performance
  • Passionate, you have a personal commitment to hospitality, customer service & quality
  • Is committed to the development of the business and the hotel team.
  • Proactive approach with exceptional initiative and problem-solving abilities to ensure highest levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Adept in working both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.

Must have European citizenship or valid Right to Work in Europe and/or Ireland.
