Job Brief

As a Demi Chef de Partie you are responsible to take care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities.


  • Assists Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to develop and implement menus, trends, training and quality initiatives
  • Prepares and arranges food in strict accordance to the hotel recipes and health department requirements
  • Prepares and sets up workstation as per the policy
  • Regularly updates hotel recipes, flavor variety and food preparation
  • Performs opening and closing procedures as directed
  • Reports any discrepancies in recipe procedures, ingredients, yields or measurements to supervisor so the recipes can be corrected
  • Performs regular inventory of product, to maintain proper par levels
  • Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management on a continuous basis
  • Complies and turns in monthly inventory
  • Trains staff members as directed; cleans kitchen as directed
  • Also responsible for the general cleanliness of their particular workstation and the accompanying walk-in refrigerator and freezer
  • Respects the core values of Constance Hotels Experience and Constance Ephelia Resort
  • Respects CERS discipline standards
  • Follows strictly recipes and technical data sheets, as well as menus and presentations
  • Ensures that HACCP standards are followed with consistency in the section

Candidate Requirements :

  • Diploma / certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in a 5 Star hotel
  • Have good knowledge of HACCP standards, food safety, food preparation and menu content
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, creative and highly energetic personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
