FASSCO is recruiting for culinary position Commi who is responsible for preparing food items in a safe and sanitary manner in Pastry, Hot or cold Kitchen. The position is also accountable for maintaining a clean and organized area, ensuring that standardized recipes and portions are being followed.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Prepares quality food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements.
  • Adheres to standardization of recipes and portion control to prevent food waste.
  • Provides care and sanitation of equipment in production areas.
  • Responsible for proper storage and labelling procedures based on HACCP standards.
  • Ensures detailed cleaning processes and perfect order in the section following the established food safety standards
  • Prepares and cooks full course meals.
  • Prepares and cooks individual dishes and foods.
  • Prepares dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Supervises Kitchen team member and helpers, maintains inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment’s.
  • Abides by the HACCP standards for freshness, proper handling, serving, and storage temperatures.
  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
