•Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow of the Reservation Team; assign duties and examines work for preciseness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures; study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of the team.
•Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
•Train and supervise Reservations Agents
•Keep records of room availability, rates, etc.
•Make, confirm and cancel reservations, usually over telephone, fax or other reservation system.
•Work closely with the Sales Department to ensure Group Allocations and Reservations are handled diligently and accurately
•Channel Sales opportunities to the Sales Department
•Handle elevated customer queries and complaints relating to Rooms Reservations
•Complete understand and effective use of the Hotel’s telephone system
•Understand Best Rate Guarantee compliance
•Convey customer feedback to assist the Revenue Management and Sales Teams in pricing and sales strategies
