Chief Engineer

We are looking for a Chief Engineer with excellent leadership to join our team. Setting long-term and short-term goals, managing staff, delegating tasks, and performing quality control checks are some of the requirements for this position. 

Innahura Resort Maldives has 76 rooms, 1 Restaurant, and 2 Bars, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach in Lhaviyani Atoll. Seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport is a scenic 40-minute flight.

You’re Responsibilities:

• Mange entire maintenance/engineering operations of the resort
• Manage staff and delegate tasks on a timely manner
• Calculate costs, material, labor required for all the maintenance jobs/projects while concentrating on all cost effective measures
• Supervise every phase of the project/jobs
• Perform quality control checks on all systems
• Resolve any dispute among staff
• Analyzing data and draft required reports

Our Requirements:

• Engineering Degree (BS), or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
• Minimum three years’ experience
• A sound understanding of engineering principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
