Chef de Partie - Indian Cuisines

General Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand.
  • Maldives’ work experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in English and Hindi.
  • Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, HACCP and safety standards.
  • Great attention to detail and creativity, especially for buffet presentations
  • Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, flexible working hours, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Job Description:
  • Ensures consistency and highest quality in food taste, temperature and presentation
  • Ensures the quality and cleanliness of all food displays with maximum creativity
  • Whenever required, communicates with guests to prepare food based on their specific preferences
  • Monitors and implements portion control established with the recipe cards; minimises waste and spoilage
  • Checks stores and refrigerators and oversees proper storage and recycling of leftovers
