Israeli Senior Sous Chef, New Israeli Fusion Restaurant, Central London

We are looking for a Sous Chef to work closely with the Kitchen Team for this

New Israeli Fusion Restaurant.

Things you will be doing as a Senior Sous Chef:

• Following the guidance of the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of all menu dishes
• Liaise with the Head Chef on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
• Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards
• Maintaining impeccable quality standards within the kitchen and service areas
• Ensure accurate records are always kept relating to the food production and wastage, for all service periods
• Meeting budgets and agreed targets
• A professional chef who can produce menu and food items to meet the standards of the Head Chef with the aim of delighting and surprising our customers

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Are either Israeli with an excellent knowledge of the Israeli cuisine or extensive experience in Israel as a chef,
• Have experience as a Senior Sous Chef or you are an experienced Sous Chef
• Have excellent use of various cooking methods and ingredients
• Have ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Have attention to detail and high standards of presentation
• Are able to work effectively as part of a team with a 'can do' attitude
