CEO– Middle East – Red Sea Development Project

The Company is actively involved in maritime and aviation support in the Red Sea Development Projects, as well as facilities management in a highly secure and confidential private environment. This is a complex role that will require the holder to ensure that services and facilities are provided in a timely manner to Clients of the Company, at any time and of the highest quality.

We are seeking a highly experienced candidate for the role of CEO for a Company which is actively involved in maritime and aviation support in the Red Sea, as well as facilities management in a highly secure and confidential private environment. This is a complex role that will require the holder to ensure that services and facilities are provided in a timely and efficient manner to Clients of the Company, at any time and of the highest quality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee a team of local / international highly qualified and experienced staff.
  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Coordinate, liaise and maintain working relationships with the Clients’ Representatives, local administration, contractors, security and technical services.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with legislation.
  • Identify and address potential opportunities and financial risks for the company.
  • Handling immigration relating to seaport for all crew and contractors including visas and customs clearance and liaising with port authorities for permits, etc.
  • Facilities Management ensuring the general upkeep, security, access, maintenance of buildings and technical areas under the Company’s supervision in coordination with all key stakeholders, also ensuring that all equipment and machinery are available on request.
  • General Fleet and Logistics management ensuring the general upkeep and maintenance of the Company’s fleet of vehicles including the external logistics service providers.

General requirements:

  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written), Saudi national preferred.
  • A Degree in Marine engineering/technical would be beneficial.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the maritime industry and in a managerial position
  • Travelling will be required both locally and internationally, at short notice.
  • An attractive package is offered for this role.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (both spoken and written). Ability to write reports and procedures in English & Arabic.
  • You will be part of a large team of European hospitality professionals. You must be well presented, highly experienced and flexible.
