As a Barista you will ensure the guest experience is maintained to the highest level. You will prepare all guest requests with the best quality product to create an unforgettable stay.

Essential Requirements

·Previous experience as a Barista in a Resort environment

·Proficient at English and other language will be a plus

·Excellent Communication skills.

·Positive and respectful work ethic ensuring privacy and discretion of guests

·Ability to multi task, be pro-active and have exceptional attention to detail

·Energetic and enthusiastic, with the ability towork under pressure

·A charismatic, energetic approach to work with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations

·Ability to communicate clearly, plan in advance and coordinate activities

·Immaculate personal presentation

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Report for duty at the stipulated time and outlet in full uniform and be groomed to a high standard without wearing any strong lingering aftershaves or deodorants.
  • Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills.
  • Perform duties on time and in accordance with the Resort policy
  • Ensure all mis-en-place for coffee and drinks are correctly prepared prior to service in all beverage outlets.
  • Be familiar with preparation, ingredients and presentation of all drinks offered in menus and have a good knowledge of the wine list.
  • Recommend and promote certain items as directed by the Outlet Manager.
  • Be aware and informed of all products the resort bar uses for service including the bar machinery.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort.
  • Maintain all your working bar areas in an exemplary condition with regard to cleanliness etc.
  • In your working area, ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively.
  • Provide prompt and efficient service of all beverages set by the resorts required standards.
  • Have knowledge of guests likes and dislikes pertaining to drinks throughout their stay and make every effort to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guest’s beverage requests throughout service.
  • Be present throughout service.
  • Ensure guest / room charges at points of sales are being managed.
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies are followed
  • Ensure completion of daily Checklists as directed by your Outlet Manager
  • Ensure you attend trainings as outlined by your Supervisor

·Perform other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Manager.

·Report any health or safety hazards to the Front of office Manager.
