Job Overview

As the Bar Manager, you are responsible to manage the bar and the bar team in an effective, approachable and proficient manner. You must ensure that all the guests and regulars are served in accordance to guidelines by the authorities in regards to the service of alcohol. You will be also be expected to contribute to the consistency and enhancement of the restaurant beverage and cigar lists.

You will need be to on top of all training and development of your respective team members to be more sharpened, equipped, knowledgeable and making sure that the team is striving on highest possible satisfaction in every operation.

You must be able to provide an efficient, engaging, friendly and charismatic service to all our guests and patrons. As the head of the department, you must be able to manage the entire team and meet the operational standards with consistency.

Amazonico Responsibilities

·Take the lead on improving beverage selection for Amazonico Riyadh while ensuring the highest quality of selected cocktails and mocktails are according to current market’s trend and best value considerations

·Coordinate with Wine Department on forecasting, reviewing and organizing the perfect selections of the cigar items for the restaurant too

·Always making sure to observe on all respective and related authority’s protocols and ensuring that they are always met without any fail

·Coordinate with the Kitchen Department on analyzing the perfect food and beverage pairing for the satisfaction of all the guests

·To oversee the preparation and presentation of all outgoing beverages to meet set standards

Departmental Responsibilities

·Vigilant on ensuring correct pricing, punching of items and spirits listings all the times

·Ensuring that every inventory on daily/weekly/monthly basis are perfectly done without discrepancies

·Manage the correct and concise ordering of beverages stocks

·Monitor the entire beverage cost in each area of restaurant operations and align them as per the business needs

·To create and contribute on developing and planning of exceptional customer service satisfaction

Role Responsibilities

·Ensure adherence to every stock control procedure and liaise smoothly with suppliers and build rapport with every sales representative to achieve consistency on the required products

·Consistently contribute on building the sales forecast and schedules to achieve the desired productivity operational targets

·Superbly and consistently identify and make analysis the most profitable Spirits to sustain the requirements of the restaurant

·Supervise the Bar team members on proper daily work assignments to take full advantage of their productivity at all times

·Giving emphasis on all admin and operational related filing, recruitments and new joiners on boarding and in depth-training of bar department

·Maintain the level of perfection during the inventories and verify them with all wine and beverage delivery invoices with purchase and finance department


·To lead and oversee the all bar displays to maximize functionality and attractiveness

·To smoothly run the entire wine service on a demanding and busy restaurant operations

·During operations, ensure great recommendation and matching of spirits according the guests’ preference most especially for the regular and VIP guests in order to provide a 100% enchanting and memorable gastronomy dining experience

·To be kept informed all times with the relevant regulations regarding the service of alcohol, and usage of license.

·You will deal with all aspects of the beverage operational service of the entire restaurant

People Management

·Prioritize on developing or enhancing the training and development plans for the entire team by conducting regular exams to refresh and refurbish their beverage knowledge

·Train all team members on correct way to up sell spirits to enhance the guest’s overall dining experience


·To follow the job chats, probation evaluation and performance review as per the calendar cycle as timely as possible

·To create an enthusiastic, clear and open philosophy of communication to all team members on both formal and informal aspects


·To lead by example to all team members

·To make sure that all operational information shared to team members are being followed and enacted upon

To maintain the highest level of alertness and attentiveness demeanor at all times in as to remain calm during periods of heavy business volumes
