Assistant Restaurant Manager- Wagamama

QA HMSHost is a joint Venture between Qatar Airways and HMS Host International. We operate 21 F&B Outlets in Hamad International Airport.

About the role:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible managing F&B employees and overseeing daily operation.

Responsible also to forecast, plan and manage all F&B food orders, staffing, rostering and finance, to maximize sales and revenue generated through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

This position reports to the Store Manager.

Duties:

·Day to day management and oversight of outlet operation.

·Responsible for all shifts in Food and Beverage Operations and ensures that the service is delivered to agreed standards and time frames.

·Prepare weekly/monthly sales forecasting and monitor inventory levels, aiming to achieve outlet sales targets on daily basis by the effective deployment of employees and management of stock.

·Ensure safe food service practices are maintained for food handling, cleaning and hygiene, as per standards.

·Establish teams objectives/KPI’s to meet sales target, ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase productivity.

·Implement and maintain all F&B operational policies and procedures, and ensure standards are met and maintained as per guidelines.

·Maintain personal records, schedules and reports for all employees.

Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed, to ensure that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention

Education & Skills:

·Bachelor’s degree required

·Experience of 4 years in F&B industry out of them 2 years in Asian cuisine

·Proven Track record in management and achieving results.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

·Leading high performance teams

·Customer Focus

·Understanding of food preparation, presentation and service.
