Job Brief

Assistant Pool and Beach Manager is responsible for the support in running all the day to day pool and beach facilities with specific guidance under their areas of responsibility.


  • Directly perform hands-on work on an ongoing basis to train employees, respond to customer service needs, or otherwise role model appropriate behaviours.
  • Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of responsible areas
  • Attends meetings as appropriate and liaise with local facilities for educational training and ideas
  • Deals courteously and efficiently with customer enquiries.
  • Continually monitors the pool and beach area performance and suggest ways of improving the service offered.
  • Promotes ideas and suggestions made by other employees and customers.
  • Following the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and guidelines for the Pool & Beach Operations as adapting and changing as necessary
  • Have a clear understanding of Swimming Pool Operations and be able to liaise with Engineering to ensure water quality is at peak performance
  • Conduct a minimum of 4 hours of training per week for junior staff to help in their growth and development
  • Daily walk around of all areas to ensure staff are performing there duties
  • Ensure assets Pool & Beach Umbrellas, Mattress, Sun Beds are cleaned regularly and removed from operation if below standards
  • Weekly and Monthly inventory submitted on time to the pool and beach Manager
  • Be knowledgeable in all your duties and follow the set guidelines Standard of Operation (SOP) at Constance Ephelia Resort.
  • Be present and actively participate in meetings and training that is given by Management.
  • Greet all clients with name recognition, a welcoming smile and a clear but soft tone of voice.
  • Work with outside operators to ensure guests are not disturbed on beach by hawkers
  • Always stay informed on other resort activities and actively promote the same.
  • Be punctual at all times for appointments, team functions and meetings.
  • Apply the qualities of discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Be genuinely committed to clients and fellow colleagues-be aware that "clients bring clients".
  • Take care and show ownership of the client from their arrival to their departure in your areas (circle of ownership) accommodating their needs, requests, and at all times respecting their privacy.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized.
  • Handle any accident or guests incident in a swift and professional manner.
  • At all times present a healthy and well maintained appearance and proper grooming

Candidate Requirements for Assistant Pool & Beach Manager :

  • Diploma/Degree in F& B Service Operations/ Hospitality Management
  • Fluent and impeccable English communications skills, any other language is an advantage.
  • Experience in a similar roles for at least 1-2 years in five stars resorts in islands environments (Caribbean, Maldives, etc.) is a must.
  • Must be calm under pressure and possess the ability to instill in all pool and beach staff that they are there to serve the guest quickly and courteously.
  • Must be able and willing to work all days and shifts.
  • Previous food and beverage experience at a leadership level is essential.
  • Have excellent communication, leadership, and financial skills
