We are currently looking for an Assistant Bar Manager

As an Assistant Bar Manager, you are responsible for assisting in managing the assigned bar to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare schedules for associates according to the forecast and within the limits of the manning guide to ensure adequate manpower at all times under the guidance of the F&B Operations Manager
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the bar
• Be involved in the planning of promotions, beverage purchases and pricing under the supervision of the F&B Operations Manager
• Supervise the daily operation under standards fixed by Hotel Management and F&B Operations Manager
• Define training needs and propose training programs in co-relation with F&B Operations Manager and continuously train subordinates to achieve highest professionalism
• Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses
• Participate actively in the creation of new drinks, snacks and improve presentations to achieve the overall objectives and propose variations to the F&B Operations Manager

Experience:

• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage

Requirement:

• Proven work experience as Assistant Bar Manager
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
