Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are currently looking for Accounts Receivable - Assistant to join our team for Courtyard by Marriott, World Trade Centre Dubai and Courtyard by Marriott Al Barsha Dubai.


PRIMARY FUNCTION: To process all charges and credits to city ledger, in a timely and accurate manner and ensure adherence to the company policy.

Competencies

  • Bachelor in Accountancy or Diploma in Hotel Management or Tourism or any equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experiences in 4 to 5 star hotel properties and at least 1 year experience in similar role.
  • Preferably have had previous experience in Accounts Receivable role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skill
  • Knowledge of OPERA system, MICROS, Accounting system, Excel and Words strongly preferred 
  • Self-motivation and organizational skills with the initiative and ability to complete projects in a timely manner and then proven ability to work well under pressure
  • Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material
  • Able to multi task and work under time constraints
  • Quick at mathematical calculation
  • Adaptable to change
