Hospitality Development Company (HDC) is the United Development Company’s (UDC psc.) wholly owned hospitality subsidiary.
HDC’s mission is to develop, own and operate world-class hospitality businesses. Consequently, the firm builds partnerships with leading and young yet promising hospitality brands with regional development ambitions.
Benefiting from unique locations at The Pearl - Qatar, HDC has largely contributed in making the island one of the most exclusive, fashionable and sophisticated family targeted destinations in the world.
Since its inception in 2007, HDC has formed exclusive partnerships with a number of reputed brands including Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar, MEGU, Pampano (New York City), Burj Al Hamam and Al Tabkha (Beirut) and Tse Yang (Paris). Discussions are underway to add more winning concepts to the HDC restaurant portfolio.
Going forward, HDC will grow through the development of its existing hospitality brand relationships, and through ventures into strategic acquisitions. This combination of organic and non-organic growth will provide optimal investment diversification.
