  • Candidate MUST have mass recruitment experience gained in a large 4 or 5 star hotel/resort
  • Candidate MUST have worked previously in Thailand with luxury 5 star hotels/resorts
  • Candidate MUST be fluent in English & Thai
  • Candidate MUST have full understanding of Thai local labour laws

Our client is a large luxury residences group operating in many parts of the world across key locations. To manage the operations of their Human Resources department for one their properties in Thailand, they are now searching for a Thai National to work as the Human Resources Director. The candidate must have extensive work experience with leading hotels or resort operations gained in Thailand and should be responsible for the overall human resource management.

Key Profile:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as Human Resources Director
  • Relevant college degree in Human Resources is a MUST
  • Must have strong Thai experience - candidate must have worked for luxury hotels or resorts in Thailand as Human Resources Director
  • Previous pre-opening experience as HR Director for a luxury hotel/resort in Thailand is an added advantage
  • Fully confident in all general Human Resources functions, applications, administration and strategies
  • Candidate MUST have a full understanding of Thai Labour Laws
  • Interpret and apply the strategic direction of the Human Resources function with specific focus on Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Organisational Effectiveness and Human Resources Administration
  • Provide counsel to Management on issues of human resources and organisational development
  • Implement a Talent Management framework starting with the assessment of management capabilities, identification of development gaps & opportunities to form succession plans
  • Provide guidelines and oversee management of human resources activities, such as recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations and resolve problems
  • Ensure that the company is deploying progressive, proven and cost-effective techniques to manage its human resources issues
  • Ensure emerging HR practices are adapted including work process design, internal communications, Organisational structures, design of physical settings, dissemination of external information, and executive leadership development
  • Manage salary surveys, research local market practices to assess competitiveness of organization compensation philosophy, determining action plans
  • Develop human resources budget and review status with each function on regular basis
  • Oversees maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee files
  • Oversee the processing of appropriate worker’s compensation and work related injury claims to ensure proper completion of required paperwork
  • Monitors costs, participates in safety committee to help minimize potential liabilities
