1. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: 

Leads and supervises the Sales Team, oversees the day - to - day sales activities, implements action plans and accomplishes goals & targets set forth in the S&M Plan by DOSM.

2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generates and maintains major accounts and assigned segments through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, Fam trip, sight inspections)
  • To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues
  • To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees
  • Ensures thorough & complete coverage of sales team for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
  • Ensures that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities of sales team
  • Consolidate month-end Sales & Marketing report applicable information for the review of Director of Sales and thereafter GM
  • Responsible for achieving the departmental targets of own self and all subordinate team members
  • Ensure that the response to any business request is actioned within 24 hours in order to avoid customer complaints
  • Establishes and maintains files of major accounts and assists the Director of Sales in maintaining the accounts management system
  • Maintain an up to date account & contact database and details in property management system
  • Lead sales team morning/afternoon briefings in the presence of Director of Sales
  • Attends departmental, communication & Revenue meeting
  • Attend events in hotel and city as requested by department head in order to promote Hotel, M-Gallery brand and Accor group
  • Closely monitor accounts revenue and business production of own corporate portfolio and of any assigned Sales Managers/Executives, to maximize up selling opportunities, to review direct competition and conduct regular research.
