  • Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices.
  • Manage room inventory and rate categories with the objective of yield maximization.
  • Daily pick up analysis, strategies adjustments and reporting.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Actively participate in the monthly forecast covering each market segment as indicated in the marketing plan.
  • Track and establish pickup trends, occupancy history and market segment development in order to facilitate forecasting process and to enable proper sales tactical action plan based on real trends analysis and information. 
  • Read and analyze reports and market intelligence in order to make inventory yield recommendations to gain market share.
  • Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
  • Maximize use of Yield Management.
  • Establish tracking mechanism for effective evaluation of cross-sell referrals generated, materialization rate, and demographic analysis.
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity.
  • Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
  • Work with Sales and Reservations Departments across properties to achieve synergy and cross-sell purpose.
  • Responsible for best practice standards including competitor analysis; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts.
  • Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, crew, groups, etc.).
  • Ensure that all personal accountabilities and deadlines set in the Business Plan are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct daily briefing and attend monthly revenue meeting. 
  • Liaise with hotel sales and Reservations for all reservation confirmations.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial practices that lead to new revenue opportunities.
  • Actively observe all workplace health and safety requirements and report any issues to the relevant department manager.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports, presentations and other administrative duties are accurate and of a consistently high standard.
  • Help operations to meet needs through prior knowledge of guests’ needs and input in the system.
  • Coach and motivate Reservations to achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department.
  • All client requests are followed up on and responded to within 24 hours.
  • Obtain market intelligence and information gathering of benefit to the hotel.
  • Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
  • Comply and ensure adherence to all of the hotel’s policies and procedures
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all staff and colleagues throughout the hotel and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
