Duties and Responsibilities.
Reports on time for duty, well groomed, and properly dressed in uniform attendance to be recorded.Maintain all cost records as outlined in the Cost Control manual. Daily random samples of receiving reports and market lists ,investigates quantity and price differences and reports un resolved discrepancies to the materials manager and financial controller. Do butchery and other samples test and keep the records and reports to the Ex Chef . Updates and distributes purchase price comparisons and sales statistics as required. Completes and distributes cost and sales potential reports as requested by Management and as outlined in the Manual. Provides timely month end accounting information with pertinent observations to enable completion of month end financial reports. Organize inventory taking food and beverage, engineering, general supplies and operating equipment and linen stores as well as outlets. And departments.Periodically conducts assets inventory and accommodation inventory. Supervises Store keepers, inventory clerk and receiving clerk, verify posting by receiving agent and store persons. Make sure to supervise in keep the stores clean and tidy at all times, temperature of chillers & freezers as per the HACCP standard. Prepare and follow up for the slow moving and short expiry. Stock taking and other tasks assigned from time to time. In addition to that, any suspicious activities among the staff or in the accommodation to be reported to the management. Any lights are on during day time, or any running /leaking water taps or any other matters which may cause loss to the hotel to be immediately reported to the duty maintenance in charge. Company business records held on computer systems must be treated as confidential records. Employees may disclose confidential information of the Company only to persons having the authority to receive such information. Confidential information may not be disclosed to persons outside the Company except in accordance with Company policy. Confidential papers must be shredded or otherwise kept locked away. Deliver confidential papers into the hands of the intended recipient. Such documents must be put into an envelope marked Private & Confidential. Use cello tape to deter intermediate handlers from opening the flap. Attends all training sessions, attends all communication meetings, Special assignments as and when necessary, and attends all medical check-up as requested.
