  • Duties and Responsibilities

    1.     Conducts a number
    of daily inspections to ensure cleanliness of areas under management, reporting
    defects and cleanliness issues to appropriate personnel 

    2.     Ensure cleanliness
    includes management of Spa Area

    3.     Maintain Health and
    Safety aspects of Spa

    4.     Ensure equipment in
    working order

    5.     Participate in
    “product knowledge days” to learn about new product and methods

    6.     Maintain market

    7.     Administer
    uniformity/consistency in treatments

    8.     Sell products in
    line with customer needs

    9.     Keep up to date
    with new treatments

    10.  Learn products and

    11.  Be well presented
    work areas and stations and practice the “clean as you go” policy

    12.  Clean up at end of
    each shift and after servicing each client

    13.  Recognise
    opportunities to sell, add on sell, up sell

    14.  Apply suggestive
    retail selling techniques to maximise service

    15.  Minimise stock
    wastage by knowing the exact amounts for each regime

    16.  Maintain stock

    17.  Work in line with business needs


    1.     Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and
    provisions contained in the Employment Handbook 

    2.     Comply with Company Grooming Standards at all
    times to portray a professional image of self and the hotel.

    3.     Comply with Time and Attendance Policies set
    by the hotel.

    4.     Actively participate in training and
    development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development

    5.     Demonstrate understanding and awareness of
    all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety

    6.     Familiarize yourself with emergency and
    evacuation procedures

    7.     Ensure all security incidents, accidents and
    near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention
    of the Line Manager

    8.     Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of

    9.     Familiarize self with the company values
    (Great Hotels Guests Love) and model desired behaviors (Winning Ways, Room to
    be Yourself) and ways of working (IHG Wheel).

    10.  Perform all tasks as directed by the Manager
    in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
