JOB SUMMARY



This position is responsible for building the property brand and outlet awareness, driving preference among key travel consumers and the local consumer. Ensures the hotels restaurants are correctly positioned and all marketing communications are delivered in a timely manner to the appropriate target market. Conforming to Marriott brand guidelines and outlet identity. Responsible for leading the properties R&B marketing strategy along with compiling the relationship with tourism bureaus, community leaders and media as well as potential sponsors, supplier and 3rd parties. Maintain and update database, spreadsheets, and electronic filing systems related to Sales & Marketing and R&B activities. Develop and manage effective external and internal public relations and communications strategies to enhance the position and image of the restaurants and hotel to all its target audiences within the market place. Develop marketing materials and assemble information packages (e.g. brochures, promotional materials, maps) for modules, promotional events, property tours, and conferences. Monitor R&B media coverage in cooperation with Public Relations and other external factors to identify potential or actual problem areas and opportunities. Support media relations outreach efforts and other activities to bolster the property's reputation and outlet image in the community. Ensure marketing framework has been executed including social media calendar, promotional and campaign plans and digital platforms been optimized. Monitor Guest Voice and guest satisfaction. Engage with guest to protect the online reputation of the outlets.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma; 4 years' experience in marketing, communications, F&B or related professional area OR 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • Previously a marketing manager in a 5-star hotel or a restaurant & bars led organization
  • Experience of selling in GCC countries essential
  • Marriott experience is desirable but not essential
