Key Job Responsibilities

  • Implements all sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlined in the business plan
  • Arrange site inspections and entertainment related to his/her market
  • Develops and maintains the potential client's database and ensure proper documentation of accounts activities
  • Maintains high level of exposure in the hotel through direct sales solicitations, telephone contacts and written communications.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
  • Submit weekly sales activity report to the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Establishes and monitor a monthly sales report.
  • Interacts and liaise closely with Front Office, Reservations, Food and Beverage and C&B Departments.
  • Generate leads within the entrusted accounts portfolio for the different aspects.
  • Transfers contracted groups to sales coordinator with all appropriate information and required follow - up.
  • Full compliance with sales service standard





Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 2 years experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standard, flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Experience in sales role with a proven track record to close a sale
  • Knowledge of local market, knowledge of hospitality, passion for sales and for achieving target objectives
  • Fluent in English
