Reporting to the General Manager, you must have extensive work experience with leading hotels or resort operations being responsible for the overall human resource management.

This position comes with a high degree responsibility, dedication and professionalism appealing to such candidates who would share the same passion.

Key Profile:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as Human Resources Manager
  • Must have strong Indian Ocean experience
  • Fully confident in all general Human Resources functions, applications, administration and strategies
  • Able to manage staff size in excess of 200
  • Interprets and applies the strategic direction of the Human Resources function with specific focus on Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Organizational Effectiveness and Human Resources Administration
  • Provide counsel to Management on issues of human resources and organizational development
  • Implement a Talent Management framework starting with the assessment of management capabilities, identification of development gaps & opportunities to form succession plans
  • Provide guidelines and oversee management of human resources activities, such as recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations and resolve problems
  • Ensure that the company is deploying progressive, proven and cost-effective techniques to manage its human resources issues
  • Ensure emerging HR practices are adapted including work process design, internal communications, Organizational structures, design of physical settings, dissemination of external information, and executive leadership development
  • Manage salary surveys, research local market practices to assess competitiveness of organization compensation philosophy, determining action plans
  • Develop human resources budget and review status with each function on regular basis
  • Oversees maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee files
  • Oversee the processing of appropriate worker’s compensation and work related injury claims to ensure proper completion of required paperwork
  • Monitors costs, participates in safety committee to help minimize potential liabilities
