Job Description

•The Assistant Restaurant Manager must ensure that the outlet is adequately equipped with operating equipment, guest supplies and restaurant accessories in line with business demands.
-To assist with scheduling and assign staff according to reservation forecast, special activities, events, holidays, vacation and operation requirements.
•To manage all aspects of the restaurant when the Manager is off duty
•To give continuous training to his/her staff and ensure that all training is recorded in the outlet training record
•To maintain a daily logbook to record comments, complaints, sales information, revenue and any unusual occurrences.
•To maintain accurate employee attendance and payroll records.
•To assist in recruitment and hiring of new employees.
•To ensure that the correct linen control procedures are adhered to and that linen are well cared for.
•To maintain a good rapport with guests, colleagues and subordinates.
•To ensure that guests receive the attention and service at all time.
•To coach and supervising existing team members.
•To behave with other members of staff, managers and directors in a polite, honest and friendly way.



Requirements

Speaking and understanding, reading and writing
High school or equivalent education required.
Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in related area preferred.
At least 2 years’ experience as F&B supervisor in a 5* property.
Previous experience in the Middle East as a plus
An additional language as a plus.
High level of IT understanding.
Ability to use Microsoft package efficiently
