A superior 5-star luxury hotel in Bangkok requires an Executive Sous Chef who is a passionate and dynamic kitchen professional. We are looking for a candidate with the experience of working in luxury international hotel brands worldwide who has been in the capacity of the Executive Sous Chef for at least two years managing F&B operations similar to the hotel's over 6 F&B outlets and more than 450 rooms.
As an Executive Sous Chef you are responsible to assist the Executive Chef in the day to day operation, while striving for the highest possible guest satisfaction.
Your background must include senior culinary roles in Europe. Knowledge of Mediterranean or Italian cuisine is a plus.
The potential candidate must be able to oversee the busy operation while remaining hands on, and take the culinary division to the next level in terms of food quality, style, presentation and atmosphere. You must also be able to work hand in hand with the front of house team to achieve the best service.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in large hotel operations, strong organizational, administrative, leadership and human resource skills. You must be able to communicate effectively, as well as train and develop team members at all levels.
The client is looking for somebody who can bring the highest standards and the best innovative cooking skills. Presentation of their food must be excellent!
He/She must be flexible and possess solid coaching skills, revenue and cost focused at all times and must have a passion to deliver customer satisfaction.
Salary: US$66,000 negotiable + expat benefits.
