At the moment, we are looking for a Sales
Executive
to join our enthusiastic, warm and friendly Sales team at Crowne Plaza Dubai.  As Sales
Executive,
you will fully support the sales team with administrative tasks,
customer service and receive, qualify and hand over sales leads to the
respective Sales Manager and Sales Director. Specifically, you will be
responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



 
FINANCIAL RETURNS
  • Implements
    all sales action plans related to the marketing as outlined in the Marketing
    Plan
  • Achieve
    budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximise profitability.
  • Promote
    and produces sales leads for other hotels of the InterContinental Hotels Group
PEOPLE
  • Manage
    day-to- day sales activities, plan and assign work to the Sales Coordinator
  • Disseminates
    sales related information to other departments, establishes and maintains
    effective employee relations
  • Actively
    participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for
    self-development
GUEST EXPERIENCE
  • Provide
    guests with information (example: loyalty programmes, area attractions,
    restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience
  • Develop
    and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to
    produce group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food &
    beverage sales, and catering/banquet services
  • Schedule
    conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with
    other hotel level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales
    office and prospective clients
 
RESPONSIBLE
BUSINESS



  • Develop
    awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
  • Demonstrate
    understanding and awareness of all policies and relating to Health, Hygiene and
    Fire Life Safety
  • Comply
    with the Company’s Corporate Code of Conduct.
 
To successfully fill this role, you should possess the following:
 
Bachelor’s degree /
higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field, and
minimum 1 year of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing
setting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must
speak local language. Other languages preferred.
