As part of the Sales &
Marketing team and reporting to the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing
you will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing and new
corporate accounts to generate rooms and food & beverage bookings.

You will be responsible for:



  •  Executing your daily activities including:
    sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and administration work.
  • Developing relationships
    within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales
    opportunities.
  • Providing and generating
    revenue from banqueting and event bookings.
  • Implementing a minimum
    of five daily sales calls to acquire new business.
  • Writing proposals,
    contracts and customers correspondence.
  • Understanding the market -
    competitors' strengths and weaknesses and knows how to sell against them.
  • Conduct market
    research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek
    out new sales opportunities through sales calls, networking and social
    media
  • Set up meetings
    with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and
    deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • Create frequent
    reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on
    behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close
    deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with
    team to achieve better results



  • The Sales Executive will actively prospect and qualify new business. He/She will also produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and/or banquet/catering event orders while they monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.  You will arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients and produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.  He/She will attend and represent hotel at trade shows and conventions and/or participate in sales trips to key feeder markets.



  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as
    a sales executive or relevant role in Hotel Line
  • Proficiency in
    English / Arabic is an advantage
  • Excellent
    knowledge of MS Office / Opera
  • Thorough
    understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques for sales
  • Fast learner and
    passion for sales
  • Self-motivated
    with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in
    delivering attractive presentations
  • High school
    degree/Diploma
  • Oman / GCC valid
    driving licenses
  • Pre-screening- Standard
    Requirements
  • Highly professional in
    appearance, character and conduct
    Positive attitude and team spirit
    Effective interpersonal skills, resourcefulness and creativity
    Display passion for our guests and enthusiasm for the job
    Ability to work under pressure and to adjust to flexible working hours
    Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in
    the workplace – fluency in English is required; any other additional language
    skills are appreciated Good communication skills

    Proven Track record in
    hospitality in area of expertise – minimum one year of progressive sales
    experience in the hospitality industry
    Aggressive negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close business
    with a high conversion ratio
    Strong ability to use standard software applications and Hotel systems
    Continuously suggest new concepts and improve existing processes that will
    benefit Sales department’s organization, revenues, costs and guests’
    satisfaction
    Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another
    of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
