Director of Hotel Sales - Luxury Brands, Regional
This is a truly exciting and unique opportunity to be part of a new team, working with globally recognised brands in delivering the right strategy across the MEA/Indian Ocean region.
The position will involve working closely with on-property teams, senior regional sales and operational directors to deliver a strategy and support for existing and during the pre-opening of the planned hotels.
It is not a customer facing role, but experience of working in a luxury brand is imperative as is knowledge of the global luxury players – tour operators, niche agents and wholesalers. It is important that the person is already in a multi-unit role, with an innate understanding of market trends in different locations and demonstrable commercial aptitude. It is highly desirable that they have current or recent past work experience in the Middle East or have worked with the outbound ME business at this level. They will also need to be competent, confident and capable in communicating and, where relevant, driving the luxury sales strategies appropriate to each, particular hotel.
