Radisson Blu Hotel and Park Inn by Radisson Abu Dhabi Yas Island is offering a challenging opportunity for young, dynamic and ambitious chef who is creative and demonstrates pride & passion at work to take on the position of Italian Chef in our Filini Italian casual dining restaurant.
The successful candidate for this role will ideally have Head Chef experience but you could also be an ambitious Sous Chef, used to working in a busy challenging kitchen, who is looking for a first Head Chef position.
The important part is that you are creative, have an open mind when it comes to Italian food, can think outside the box and are passionate about creating and delivering fantastic food!
You will have the usual skills required for a role like this, great interpersonal skills, a team player, outgoing and able to deal with both customers and your colleagues alike, and be able to organize and react quickly to difficult situations and the many changes and challenges that we face each day. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a small team, train and develop them to deliver results, whilst also keeping an eye on their personal development. Finally, you must be able to do the maths, manage our costs, understand how to develop a menu and understand what our customers want. Last, and certainly not least, a smile is very important!
