Within the midst of this incredible and fast emerging destination, towering 225 metres high in the exclusive area of West Bay stands a new dimension in luxury,InterContinental Doha The City; an icon of modern architecture had opened the doors for the guests on 19 February 2012 and had set the standard in modern upscale accommodation for business and leisure travellers. (176 residence, 360 rooms, 7 F&B outlets, one Events Centre).


We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Director of Finance and Business Support to join InterContinental Doha The City. 

 

As Director of Finance & Business Support, you'll supervise all members of the Accounting Department, provide functional guidance to Executive Committee and Department Heads, and interact with hotel's legal counsel, insurance companies, auditors, commercials and government banks to effectively control the assets of the business and to provide business support.

 

Providing financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of Strategic Plan, Budget and KPO's, Cash flow projection and performance through controls on inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances as well as the monthly preparation of actual results against budget, analyze results and recommend to Executive Committee measures required to meet budget as well as prepare a consolidated quarterly position assessments for the General Manager.





REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 Certification: CPA Preferred

Regular interaction with CSS (accounting and reporting team)

Education: University, Bachelor in economics and/or commerce preferred

Experience: 2 Years in Accounting Firm preferred, 7-10 years of demonstrated leadership career progression in key Finance roles with international, top tier hotel management companies

Strong Analytical Skills

Flexible working hours

Ability to challenge Hotel Management Teams to drive superior performance

Daily interaction with IMEA Corporate Finance & Business Support management team

Regular communication with Executive

Regular meetings with External and Internal Auditors

Meetings with Hotel Owners
