A dedicated executive lounge with all-day food and beverage offerings, an Internet lounge, shower suites and a business Centre with four meeting rooms, is located on level 45. The superbly equipped conference Centre, amongst the largest in Abu Dhabi, includes a ballroom, seating up to 1,400 delegates, 13 meeting rooms and large pre-function areas with sea view. About the Role

The exciting opportunity has arisen in our Sales team at the Jumeirah Etihad Towers and the main purpose of this role is to manage accounts in the SBU target environment, achieve sales targets, deliver market leading performance, ensure Jumeirah at Etihad Towers is the first choice for assigned accounts, maximise revenue & commercial opportunities.

Main duties will include:

  • Deliver assigned KPI targets (weekly, monthly, yearly).
  • Make recommendations to the ADOS on necessary sales plans or strategy revision to increase production from own accounts / industry segment(s)
  • Act as the single point of contact within Jumeirah at Etihad Towers for each assigned account
  • Full account management to produce groups/events proposals/contracts for assigned accounts and geographic region(s)
  • Liaise closely with the C&E team to hand over groups/events once contracts have been signed and first deposit accepted so C&E can manage the group
  • Obtain current accurate knowledge of the organizational structure, both formal and informal, of own accounts, business and update frequently
  • Keep close follow up on developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.) Also explore and compare Group traffic (who is accommodating guests in which hotel) amongst the competitors.
  • Communicate effectively to GSOs on all issues relevant to own accounts in order to maximize market penetration / exposure
  • Be fully up to date with actual / forecast / budgeted volumes, revenues and occupancies of the SBU
  • Ensure all of your customer/partner data is collated, summarised and consistently updated in Jumeirah Sales systems (e.g. CRM, Delphi)
  • On weekly basis, prepare an activity report from the system which will cover sales call reports, site inspections, fam trips, new agencies, meetings, entertainment and other functions  you participated in during the week and present to Director of Sales & Marketing / Associate Director of Sales
  • Set and meet customer expectations and facilitate objection handling
  • Attend industry and association networking events in order to broaden relevant commercial contacts
  • Plan and conduct customer entertainment/outlet experiences across the SBU on a regular basis
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct site inspections across the SBU
  • Plan, coordinate and host designated FAM Trips
  • Responsible for managing and responding to all MICE RFPs related to your own industry segment accounts
  • Deliver brand message to customers
  • Balance customer service needs with Jumeirah’s business needs to achieve Jumeirah sales targets
  • Maintain and grow positive customer and partner relationships
  • Use data accurately to guide your sales activity
  • Actively promote and cross-sell other SBUs relevant to clients and pass on leads through CRM
  • Participate in preparing sales action plans, attending sales meetings, developing new ideas such as special packages, programmes, promotional activities undertaken by sales department and/or F&B. 
  • About You

    In order to be considered for this role you must have at least two years experience in a Sales Manager role in a 5* luxury hotel and you should be commercially focused as well as organized and disciplined. You should process excellent time management skills and should be friendly, pleasant and easy to be around. At last, you should have an internationally recognized College background or hold a business related degree from internationally recognized institution.
