Duties and Responsibilities

 Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield      

operations.

 Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; environmental scanning, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management (minimum stay strategy etc), room category upselling, inventory availability by channel, pricing control and new pricing concepts

 Daily pick-up analysis, analysing booking patterns, strategy adjustments and BOB/pick up/rate reporting.  Daily flexing of entire bed stock rates

 Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.

 Create and maintain an annual demand calendar.  Assist to create and develop pricing strategies according to demand.

 Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.

 Manage growth of REVPAR and ADR

 Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.

 Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity • Initiating promotions to generate business at key times

 Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution Page 2 of 2

 Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTAs, wholesalers, tour operator, corporate, consortia, groups, etc…).

 Negotiate contracts for the above and introduce new contacts

 Manage an office team of 5/6

 Oversee and audit the standards and operations of the reservations department.

 Ensure website booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.

 Ensure hotel personnel are fully competent in the use of all reservations systems.

 Work in liaison with hotel sales and in charge of reservations departments as a team.

 Regularly check the input and the quality of data (correct segmentation, enquiry logs )etc.  Any other reasonable requests made by management. • Oversee events role • Attending ad hoc business networking meetings /fam trips as required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 Strong business development and commercial awareness skills

 Sound ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes

 Good analytical and numerical skills

 Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment

 Ability to take the initiative and be a self-starter

 Ability to set objectives, plan and follow through with tasks to completion

 Able to develop relationships with 3rd parties and the hotel teams

 Capacity to read situation, understand environments and respond accordingly

 Capable of prioritising between revenue generating actions and time consuming tasks with low yield impact.

 Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
