Swissotel Al Maqam is Swissotel's Second hotel to open in Saudi Arabia. The hotel offers 1624 elegant rooms and suites with modern design, complementing the values of today's Arab culture.

As part of the prestigious Abraj Al Bait complex, the deluxe Swissotel Al Maqam is a contemporary five-star hotel located in close proximity to the holy Masjid Al Haraam, overlooking the Ka'aba and the Grand Mosque.

It has private entrances that make it easier for pilgrims to reach Al Masjid Al Haram.

A/C Technician

Basic Tasks:
  • Conduct maintenance check for AHU's, FCU's, Walk in freezers
  • Install Air-con and heaters.
  • Repair damage and dysfunctional AHU's, FCU's, Walk in freezers
  • Check its functions and status
  • Fix and check package type and Split type
  • Change spare parts
  • Encode the reported damage of the Air handling units, Fan coil units, freezers.
  • Check the its major parts (i.e. Freon)
  • Conduct daily routine for inspections
  • Check leakage
  • Good Experience of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration System and Chillers
    Minimum 5 years experience with chiller's compressor overhauling
    Operation and Maintenance of Chillers and A/C units
    Good Knowledge of Power wiring

  • Skills and Competency Requirements:
  • Must have the experience of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Systems, Chillers and Compressor overhauling
  • Must have knowledge in trouble shooting
  • Ability to detect damages and malfunctions
  • Must have wide knowledge in package and Split type, fan coil unit & air handling unit
  • Know how to change spare parts
  • Must have good communication skills


    • Minimum three (3-5) years' experience with the similar position in a five star Hotels or similar organization.

    • Interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.

    • Any trade license or certification would be an additional qualification
