At the moment we're looking
for a Content Specialist - Social Channels, AMEA to join our fun
and energetic team at Singapore Corporate Office. 


Job Summary


Content Specialist will craft compelling copies and stories that will build communities and
connect people to our brands. Working closely with cross functional teams
(brands, loyalty, PR/Comms), the candidate will lead the social content
strategy for our AMEA region on all the relevant social networks, contributing to improve our brand
recognition
and increase customer
loyalty.
Content specialist will work to produce all types of content we
may consider appropriate to reach our target audiences and help solve their
travel problems. This means: planning, distribution and promotion of high
quality, inspirational and informational content including feature articles,
deals offerings, travel tips and advice.

Successful candidate should be passionate about
writing and social media, online platforms and new technologies, and have a
desire to grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsible for
effectively collaborating
with internal brand teams, regional teams,
product management, technology, legal, revenue management, and other
cross-functional departments, to ensure content needs are met across AMEA
social channels.


Duties & Responsibilities

  •      Develop
    and continuously improve social content strategy for AMEA region across our
    regional and global platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WeChat, Kakao)
  •       Assume
    responsibility on interactions across all relevant social platforms and
    identify opportunities of engagement with the target audience
  •      Help
    to create and expand brand awareness on social networks according to the
    general social strategy best practice and to the Brand guidelines.
  •      Research
    and produce content that is inspiring and useful for our travellers
    (features/advice/inspiration) that can be promoted on social platforms
  •      Identify
    new areas of content that should be persued and plan how to get such content
    sourced and reach amplified through social networks
  •      Guide
    social content editorial schedule for AMEA
  •      Ensure
    brand tone of voice is maintained in all communications and that quality of
    content is of a high standard
  •      Alert
    and respond/react to changes within social networks – functionality, etiquette,
    reporting etc.
  •      Monitor
    and present relevant data, trends, successes, exceptions in the region in
    relation to social media and travel etc.
  •      Competitor
    analysis and monitoring: monitor closely what competitors are doing, which
    promotions, contests or initiatives are trending on social platforms
  •       Utilise
    well developed web etiquette skills to ensure we deliver the right message
    online, help people, stimulate discussions, encourage debate etc. Help to get
    ‘on brand’ real time content writing, online discussion, interactions, hotel
    search and promotion in reply to specific requests etc.



Qualification & Requirement


Education: Bachelor's
Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent
combination of education and work-related experience.



Experience: 3 years progressive work-related
experience in content production field, preferably in travel & hospitality.
Social content experience is a plus.  


Technical Skills and
Knowledge:


·         Outstanding
copy-writing skills

·         Creative
writing experience (preferably in travel industry) is a must

·         Strong
familiarity with key social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

·         Regional
social platform knowledge (WeChat, Kakao) is preferable, but not necessary

·         Capability
to give creative input on content and developing ideas on social media marketing

·         Experience
in using analytics to guide social strategy and editorial policy

·         Exceptional
communication skills, including written, verbal and presentations

·         Strong
planning, prioritisation and project management competencies

·         Demonstrated
proficiency in business software products such as Excel, Microsoft Access,     Word, PowerPoint.

·         Demonstrated
ability to build and manage relationships with global teams, regional teams,       external partners.

.         Demonstrated presentation
building, strategic planning and presenting skills.
