Crowne Plaza Duqm is 8kms from the town centre and 600kms
from Muscat, the hotel offers comprehensive business facilities with
interpretation of Omani architecture. This hotel features 213 deluxe rooms and
suites overlooking the scenic coastline, fully equipped fitness centre with kid’s
and adult's pools, choice for conference and meetings, also features two
ballrooms, etc.

At the moment we're looking for a Banquet Coordinator to
join our young, energetic and enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Duqm.

Reporting to the Food &
Beverage Manager, The Banquet Coordinator is an integral position responsible
for assisting the Banquet operations with all administrative functions of the F&B
department.  This position requires a
high energy professional who will be the key support to the department.

Ideally, you will have :
  • Bachelor's degree / Higher
    education qualification equivalent in hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer
    service and administrative experience.
  • Excellent
    communication skills - both oral and written.
  • Fluent in
    English and able to communicate in Arabic would be an advantage.
  • Excellent
    customer service skills with the ability to be flexible and service last minute
  • Must be
    very detail oriented and have strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Must be a
    team player and have the ability to work well with all departments.
  • Communicate
    to all related departments any information necessary to ensure guest
  • The
    ability to work well under deadlines, have strong time management skills and
    handle competing priorities is essential.
  • Good
    knowledge of the Banquet Department, Catering and other hotel services an
  • Standard
    responsibilities include but are not limited to welcoming visitors and clients
    to the office, answering incoming calls to  the F&B office, completing the monthly
    payroll and posting all banquet checks for timely and accurate processing.
  • Female candidate preferred.
