Director of Sales and Marketing
We are currently looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing for the company’s 5-star property in Abha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. . This 5-star property that features 120 luxurious rooms & suites that are fully equipped with the latest in technology and comfort, state-of-the-art health club, an exclusive spa, and two restaurants with an outdoor terrace that offers breathtaking views of the city.
As a Director of Sales and Marketing, you compile and execute a marketing plan and work with the Team to achieve Sales targets and company goals.
Duties and responsibilities include:
-Daily monitoring and analysis of the hotel’s sales performance; evaluation of the market mix and revenue forecasts.
-Retaining of current business and contracting of new accounts.
-Development and design of attractive offers and packages for guests, travel agents and corporate clients.
-Setting Sales Targets for self and team.
-Assigns sales territory, target groups and sales quota allocations
-Coordinates sales activities with all relevant departments
-Prepares and submits plans, budgets, progress reports and sales reports regularly
-Manages human resource functions e.g. hiring, training, performance reviews
-Researches competitors' products/services
-Develops goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to Sales Team
-Develops and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans
-Makes productive sales call daily
The ideal candidate should have:
-Current experience in a similar role in Jeddah or Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
-Positive attitude and good communication skills
-Financial management and Strategic planning skills
-Knowledge of the product and competitive environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
-Strong network of connections
-Relevant education on business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field is required
-Ability to work well under time pressure and/or demanding travel schedules.
-Demonstrated previous experience in a Sales role with the proven ability to close a sale.
-A passion for sales and target-based performance.
-Strong negotiation skills and creative selling ability.
-Significant experience in revenue management or a similar analytical role.
-With valid driver’s license.
-Fluency in Arabic is essential, fluency in English or other languages would be an advantage
