Our client is managing a well-known and busy luxurious resort in the Indian Ocean. The resort features various F&B outlets.We are now searching for a highly experienced and trained Executive Chef to oversee the activities of the entire kitchen division.

The ideal candidate will have a very strong working background within a multi-cultural environment and be responsible for budgets and cost control, recruitment and development of the kitchen team, HACCP, Health and Hygiene monitoring and maintenance as well as remain highly creative in designing  menus.

Key Attributes:

  • Must have a strong background in being associated with leading luxurious 5 star properties in Indian Ocean prior
  • Provide supervision, training, direction and leadership to all kitchen staff
  • Ensure smooth operation in the kitchen areas
  • Ability to lead and train a team of more than 60
  • Monitor all the food preparation for buffet and a la carte
  • Should be in control of purchasing, receiving and storing
  • Ensure the highest level of food safety and security
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English
  • Have strong leadership and training skills
  • HACCP certified professional is highly preferred
