Our client is managing a very successful Corporate 200 plus room property in East Africa with a very large on and off site F&B operation including a very popular conference centre.

To manage the overall operations of the hotel, we are now searching for an experienced and dynamic hotelier to join as a General Manager for this leading hotel.

Candidate attributes :

  • Be dynamic and an excellent networker
  • Superior communicator comfortable dealing with CEOs and high level Government delegations
  • Solid stable background in Corporate 4 and 5 star internationally branded properties
  • Prior African experience a distinct advantage
  • Client is developing new properties so there is potential for the role to develop into a Cluster role
  • Prior pre-opening or project management experience also a plus
  • Overseeing a diversified multicultural Excom team
  • Excellent Sales, Marketing and Revenue Skills
  • Outstanding planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to look at new creative revenue streams in a highly competitive market
  • A proactive strategic thinker
