Executive Sous Chef-Inflight Kitchen | Qatar Aircraft Catering Company | Doha
You will be responsible to manage, supervise, and coordinate the work of a large staff providing culinary services par excellence, working closely with Executive Chef and interacting on a regular with VP Production and and other Senior Manager of the Organization.
You will be required to effectively delegate and execute instructions given by the Executive Chef. Assist and create Menus and Meal planning and maintain portion and food cost control. Required to work closely with Executive Chef to develop seasonal Aa carte menus, as required. You are also required to inspects equipment and facilities to assure proper use, safety, maintenance and sanitation. To attends daily line up meetings and any other meetings as required.About You
You should have minimum 5 to 7 years related experience in a high volume banquet operations and preparation of fine dining is necessary. Must have strong knowledge of nouvelle cuisine, gourmet sauces, exhibition cooking, fine dining desserts, grade manager preparation and high quality food preparation.
Previous minimum 2-3 years experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a high volume flight catering, hotel, private club or restaurant setting is mandatory.
Bachelor degree in Food services management or certification by a recognised culinary institution or equivalent education and experience in essential.
