The Grand Millennium Hotel Muscat is the flagship of the Grand Millennium Brand. The Hotel is Sharia Compliant with seven (7) F&B outlets, spa and recreation and a total of 328 rooms and apartments. It is located next to the Muscat Grand Mall.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Constantly aware of the room situation and to strive to obtain maximum occupancy.
- Maintain an atmosphere of tranquility at the Front Desk.
- Attend to all guests who approach the Front Desk immediately, cordially, and with a smile and greeting to the guests.
- Attend/assist to hotel guests in the procedures of registering, inquires, key handling, messages and all related matters.
- Register guests promptly providing all necessary information to ensure guest's comfort.
- Update guest information in to the computer immediately and accurately.
- Escort guest to their villa and explain features inside the villa.
- Take room reservations effectively, efficiently and obtain all details as laid out on the reservation form, up selling at every opportunity.
- Ensure that V.I.P Special Request rooms are blocked, and that all keys are in order.
- Keep updated of the company's Marketing Programs.
- Be fully conversant with all hotel activities, facilities and layout.
- Extend a personal service to the guests and assist them in all their requirements, inquires and needs.
- Handle guest mail, take telephone messages and ensure that all telexes, mail and telephone messages are distributed promptly.
* Minimum one year experience in a similar role
