Scope Of Work
To supervise Room Attendants; to inspect guest rooms, to ensure cleanliness in all public access areas including offices, outlets, rest-rooms, to report rooms ready for occupancy after cleaning, and to manage the supply and its distribution.

Job Responsibilities
1. Ensures efficiency in the performance of Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants in guestrooms and surrounding areas.
2. Maintains a worksheet to record rooms inspected daily, assignments for housemen, special projects, guest room status, maintenance deficiencies and significant events and activities during shift.
3. Give special attentions to make-up rooms and ensure supplies are replenished and rooms are properly serviced.
4. Inspects the minimum number of rooms required on a daily basis, as per hotel standard and including check outs, vacant and make-up rooms.
5. Inspects all VIP rooms and blocks rooms prior to guest arrival.
6. Ensures that all cleaned and inspected check outs rooms are communicated immediately to Housekeeping office.
7. To demonstrate the 12-SEB's and ensure the whole of the Housekeeping department continually follows the same.
8. Keeps updated on new products in the market.

HR Responsibilities
9. Provides feedback on performance to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper for the purpose of performance evaluations, probation periods, annual performance reviews, promotion or transfer consideration and salary reviews.
10. In conjunctions with the Assistant Executive Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper establishes comprehensive training programmes for the department.
11. Evaluates departmental training sessions.
12. Personally conducts training for all Housekeeping colleagues as required.

Financial Responsibilities
13. Conducts periodic linen inventory.
14. Ensuring the correct key signing in/out procedures are adhered to at all times
15. Controls the expenses according to the departmental plan.

General Responsibilities
16. Attends departmental meetings and daily briefings as required.
17. Conducts daily briefings on behalf of or in the absence of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
18. Ensures that the appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform and appearance are maintained for all colleagues within the Housekeeping department.
19. Strictly adheres to the Hotel's Policy on Confidentiality and Ethics.
20. To carry out any additional tasks and projects as requested by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper.Competencies & Skills
