The successful candidate should be strategic, proactive leader with proven track record in a similar role at a 5* resort and with ability to work under pressure in a high pace environment. 

Produces action plan related to the revenue plan of the hotel to ensure objectives are achieved

Develop and design attractive offers and packages for Guests, travel agents and corporate clients

Reviews data with the Sales team and makes necessary adjustments to ensure performance impact is maximise

Maximizes new and existing revenue sources

Monitor and analyze sales results

Makes decisions in a timely manner

Formulate strategies in order to run an effective Sales team

Ensure the Sales team maintains the hotel database system in accordance with standards

Organize comprehensive information to existing and potential customers with regards to the product range offered by the hotel, with the aid of the relevant sales resources and sales channels

Expand new customer acquisitions and manage contacts with existing Guests and key contacts

Monitor offers, options and discounts for repeat bookings for groups, congresses and seminars in close cooperation with the Group Coordinator

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels in a multi-cultural environment is a must


* Requires very good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* Impeccable English, other languages, including Arabic would be of advantage
* Ability to implement and update the strategic Business Development plan
* Comprehension of hotel processes
* Analytical skills and ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and execute
* Ability to coordinate with colleagues, departments and management team
* Command of MS office and hotel PMS Opera
* Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management / Marketing / Business or related field
* Minimum of one year experience with similar position, luxury hotel experience is prefer
