The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is an IHG flag
ship property in Abu Dhabi and is a prominent landmark on the Corniche, located
in a commanding beachfront setting. It features 390 guest rooms and suites, has
highly acclaimed food and beverage outlets and elegant meeting rooms and
banquet facilities.

We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Guest Relations & Club Lounge Manager to join InterContinental Abu Dhabi. 


Job Overview

  • Demonstrate
    service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company
    standards including:
    • Being attentive to Guests;
    • Accurately and promptly fulfilling Guests requests;
    • Anticipate Guests needs;
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest
    • Demonstrating a ‘service’ attitude.

  • Taking
    appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.
  • Inspects all VIP rooms prior to arrival and inform other operational
    departments such as Housekeeping and F&B on matters related to arrival
    times, special requests and VIP amenities set up.
  • Review arrival lists for all arrivals and VIP’s to check room
    allocations, amenities and special requests.
  • Overall
    responsible for ensuring and maintaining the entire range of services offered
    for the Club Floor and Club Lounge with the aim to maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all
    guests’ needs are being dealt with immediately, complaints are accepted and
    followed up according to stands and recorded in a logbook.
  • Demonstrate
    understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to
    Health, Security, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports
    do the same
  • Perform
    tasks as directed by the Manager in pursuit of the achievement of business

Ideally you'll have a Bachelor's degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management (or equivalent), with at least two (2) years experience in a similar role in a 5 stars hotel.  Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient skills for written and oral communication in English.  Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office, knowledge of Opera system is desirable.  The right candidate portrays a professional image at all times and posses strong multi tasking and admin skills.
