Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms Division

The EAM-Rooms leads our talented front of house teams to provide an award-winning luxury experiences to our guests. From the moment they set foot on the island, until they wave goodbye, the EAM Rooms is responsible for ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

This role requires a dynamic, motivated individual who embraces Song Saa’s vision of luxury that treads lightly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee and support the Management in the daily operation of the Guest Experience, Spa, Watersports, and Conservation departments
  • Lead the teams in ensuring exceptional guest experience by formulating; defining and developing planned actions, procedures and strategies to achieve operational growth.
  • To establish and encourage a strong relationship with our guests and provide accurate and accessible information for them about the facilities and services we offer.
  • Manage the departments through the Department Heads to ensure that department manning is effective, costs are managed and that service experience is delivered to a consistently exceptional standard.
  • Work with the General Manager and senior management team to ensure that all relevant systems and procedures are aligned and executed consistently.
  • Maximize revenue along with the productivity of all team members and identify the most efficient means possible for directing resort information to guests.
  • Forward planning and forecasting future arrivals, focusing on special requests and guest requirements, and ensuring communication to relevant departments as applicable.
  • Event manage in person all of Song Saa’s special events such as weddings, VIP guest itineraries, festive season events
  • Work alongside the EAM – Food and Beverage to form a cohesive management team.
  • Compile and read Budgets  & P&L reporting as needed

Personal Requirements:

  • Qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ reservation, revenue and operations experience in luxury properties around the world
  • Creative, adventurous personality with an eye for detail and also in strong guest communication.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. And or other CRS systems
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English to an exceptional standard.
  • Proven track record of positive, assertive leadership in a team environment.
  • Hands on position and would suit someone with remote location experience, such as Maldives or South Pacific.
